Giza Systems names Saleh Algroony as Group Chief People & Corporate Services Officer

Giza Systems, a leading IT company, has appointed Saleh Algroony as Group Chief People & Corporate Services Officer, effective January 2025.  

Saleh shared the news on LinkedIn: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Group Chief People and Corporate Services at Giza Systems!”  

Key leaders, including Omer Alnomany, CEO of Solutions by stc, extended their best wishes to him. Saleh most recently served Solutions by stc as the Group Chief People & Corporate Services Officer. Omer stated, “All thanks and appreciation, Abu Faris. Your efforts at Solutions are outstanding, and everyone praises them. They are an inspiration to others—a journey of passion and perseverance toward excellence. By God's will, Giza is about to embark on a transformation journey, and you and your colleagues will be leading the way. I pray that God grants you success and strength.”  

Saleh added, “Grateful for your support and trust, Abu Abdullah. What has been achieved in the company is, first and foremost, by the grace of God and then thanks to your leadership and guidance. Insha’Allah, we will continue to be worthy of this trust and carry on the journey of success.”  

Saleh holds around 15 years of HR leadership experience, including eight years at Solutions by stc in key roles such as Vice President of Business Excellence, General Manager of People, and Director of Talent Development. In his previous roles, he worked with Saudi Electricity Company for over six years and with Saudi Aramco for a brief period.  

Saleh holds remarkable academic and leadership skills, with a BSc degree in Computer Science from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals. He has also completed programs in Organisational Learning from IMD, Strategic Leadership, and Strategic HR Planning from the University of Michigan. Additionally, he holds several key certifications in HR leadership, including People Analytics from the University of Cambridge, Employee Experience and HR & Digital Transformation from LinkedIn, Human Capital & Strategic HR Business Partnership from the Human Capital Institute, and Facilitating Career Development from the National Career Development Association.

After Saleh stepped down from the Group Chief People & Corporate Services Officer position at Solutions by stc, Emad AlMutairi was promoted to take over his responsibilities. These HR leadership movements are internal, as Giza Systems is an acquired IT company of solutions by stc, with an 88.19 percent stake. Although Giza Systems continues to operate independently, it collaborates with Solutions by stc to expand services in Saudi Arabia and beyond.
