Mize appoints Efrat Shenkar as Chief People Officer

Mize, a leading fintech-travel tech start-up in Israel, has promoted Efrat Shenkar to the role of Chief People Officer, effective March 2025.  

Efrat announced, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief People Officer at Mize!”  

Efrat brings nearly 15 years of strategic HR experience across the IT and HR consulting sectors. She joined Mize in 2022 as the Head of HR & Recruitment and has been overseeing strategies and initiatives to make it an inclusive and people-centric workplace, leading it towards growth and innovation. She played a key role in the expansion of the employee base over the past three years.  

Before joining Mize, Efrat worked with Konnecto for about two years as the HR Manager, with DraftKings as the Global Talent Acquisition and HR Manager after it acquired her previous organisation, SBTech, and with Jobinfo as a Recruitment Specialist. She started her HR journey with Zepra in 2012.  

On the academic front, Efrat holds a BA in Social Sciences from Bar-Ilan University and possesses strong skills in talent acquisition, employee engagement, employee relations, talent management, and leadership development.

Mize is rapidly expanding its footprint across the globe and most recently completed the acquisition of RightRez, an air travel automation platform, to enhance its air automation capabilities.  

Although a hybrid workplace, it also opened a new office in Tel Aviv to support its growing teams. In 2023, Mize raised $12 million in a Series B funding round led by Flashpoint VC, following an 800 percent year-over-year growth. The startup is investing in new innovations and team growth.
