Puneet Bhirani

A member of the Executive council of Mphasis, Puneet Bhirani is the Chief People and Administrative Officer (CPAO) for Mphasis. As the CPAO he oversees the important functions of HR, CIO, CRO, CSR and Business Operations. In this role, his mandate is to ensure that Mphasis attracts the best talent and during their lifecycle they get the best experience in terms of career development, tools and technologies, infrastructure in a secure environment. In addition Puneet also heads the Payment Managed Services SBU which manages 9,000 ATM’s on a Total outsourcing model across India for various Banks. Puneet has over 20 years of experience working in diverse fields such as Green field projects setup, driving operational efficiency, sales, resource management, Integration, consulting, business analysis and operations. He has been with Mphasis for over 15 years across diverse functions. He was awarded Mphasian of the year in 2009. Prior to joining Mphasis, he worked with Planetasia Ltd and Asea Brown Boveri Ltd. Puneet holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) degree, MBA in Marketing from SP Jain Institute of Management, Mumbai and AMP from Wharton School, Philadelphia.
