
CST elevates Mohammad Alfadhel as Assistant Deputy Governor of HR

The Communications, Space & Technology Commission has promoted Mohammad Alfadhel to the role of Assistant Deputy Governor for Human Resources, effective immediately.
Alfadhel announced on LinkedIn, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Assistant Deputy Governor for Human Resources at Communications, Space & Technology Commission (CST)!”
Alfadhel joined the CST Commission in 2022 as the Talent Development Director and has since advanced to key roles through his impactful HR leadership. Under his guidance, the organisation received the 'Excellence in Talent Management' award at the GCC Government Awards for HR.
Prior to his promotion, he served the company in the capacity of Organisational Development and Total Rewards Director, spearheading major talent development programs, including a High Potential (HiPo) Development Program in partnership with IE Business School. He was responsible for leadership development, employee engagement, assessment centers, performance management, total rewards strategies, and succession planning.
Before joining CST, Alfadhel worked at neoleap as the Director of Organisational Effectiveness. Previously, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at a confidential organisation for nearly three years.
He began the HR leadership journey with Saudi Telecom Company (stc) spending around six years in key roles, where he was responsible for designing and managing management training programs. His work included developing learning strategies, ensuring content consistency, overseeing the annual training budget, evaluating program effectiveness, conducting industry benchmarking, and establishing policies to standardise training initiatives across stc's workforce.

On the academic front, Alfadhel completed a Leadership Development program at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business - University of Michigan and earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Marketing from King Saud University. He also holds key certifications, including those in Learning & Development (L&D), Chartered Institute of Professional Development (CIPD) in HR, Leadership, Teamwork & Innovation, and Change Strategy from Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education, as well as a Mini MBA in Advanced HRM from Kingston International Limited.
