Tabreed elevates Dalal Al Yafei as VP - Human Capital
Tabreed, UAE-based leading utility company, has promoted Dalal Al Yafei as the Vice President of Human Capital, with immediate effect.
Dalal shared the news on LinkedIn, writing, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President Human Capital at Tabreed!”
Dalal, who joined Tabreed in 2021, holds a wealth of HR leadership experience. She served the company in key roles including, Acting Vice President of Human Capital and Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition employing data analysis, workforce planning, analytical skills, and corporate recruitment strategies. In her new role, she will drive HR management, HR policies, strategic HR leadership, stakeholder management, team leadership, business resilience and employee relations, to build a culture of growth.
Prior to joining Tabreed, Dalal served Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi as the Human Capital Business Partner, and Talent Acquisition Partner. She began her career in HR with Etihad Rail and Corniche Hospital. On the academic front, Dalal holds a degree in HR Management and Personnel Administration from Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI), a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in HRM and Personnel Management from AL Ain University of Science and Technology, and a degree in Nursing Administration from RAK College of Nursing.
Dalal holds key recommendations from senior leaders in UAE including Ali Al Jawdar, Chief Human Capital Officer at Cleveland Clinic, and Khadija Al Hirey, VP & Head of Resourcing Operations - First Abu Dhabi Bank, as conveyed on LinkedIn.
Dalal has played a pivotal role in key initiatives for Tabreed’s workforce such as Young ADIPEC, which invites young talent of the region for a hands-on learning experience for pursuing careers in engineering and industry. She is also a key participant in global conversations around sustainability, talent development, culture transformation, and innovation. Her efforts led Tabreed to win several awards including: Best Employee Wellbeing Award by Global Semiconductor Alliance Awards 2024, and Global ESG Awards for Health and Well-being Programs.
