OCS appoints new CHRO & CFO for APAC & Middle East

OCS, a global facilities provider, has announced the appointment of two key leaders for the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions: Ryme Dembri as Chief Human Resources Officer and Alexandre Gerard as Chief Finance Officer, with immediate effect.
In her new role, Ryme brings over 25 years of HR leadership experience across the manufacturing, food and beverage, HR consulting, and professional training and coaching sectors. She is responsible for shaping the organisation’s strategic direction from a human resources standpoint. Her key responsibilities include talent management, workforce planning, and fostering an inclusive and high-performing culture across the business in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. She will spearhead the people strategy, develop an effective HR delivery model, and contribute to the company's M&A agenda, driving revenue growth and profitability through human capabilities in the region.
Prior to her appointment, Ryme served as the Head of Leadership, Talent & Culture for ASM in Singapore. Before that, she worked with Dole Sunshine Company as the Global Head of Talent and Organisational Performance in Singapore, Whirlpool Corporation as the Head of HR and Vice President for EMEA operations, Philips Lighting as Vice President and Head of HR for Singapore, and Philips as Senior Director of Organisational Effectiveness and Senior Director of HR Strategy & HRO in Amsterdam. She also worked with Demos Group, PwC France, and Softmatic Germany at the beginning of her career. On the academic front, she holds a master’s degree in HR Development from Pantheon-Sorbonne University, a bachelor’s degree in European Business Management from the University of Hamburg, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Administration, and HR from the University of Reims Champagne-Ardenne.

On the other hand, Alexandre brings over 25 years of experience across the manufacturing, retail, and logistics sectors. He will be responsible for spearheading the financial operations of the company throughout the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. His key focus will be on optimising financial performance, driving revenue growth, and maximising the business’s profitability. Before his appointment, Alexandre worked as Group CFO and Regional CFO for leading organisations, including APM Monaco, Grand Royal Group, Christian Bernard Group, ECCO Indonesia & Thailand, SDV Logistics, and Alcan Packaging. On the academic front, he holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business and a master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Rochester.
