MoHRE to organise mass Eid Al-Fitr celebrations for workers across the UAE

The two-day event will take place across multiple locations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.

The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) is organising social and recreational events for workers during the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr holiday. 

The two-day event will take place across multiple locations, including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah. Day 1 will feature raffle draws with prizes like mobile phones and airline tickets. Day 2 will have a grand raffle draw, where one lucky winner will drive away with a brand-new car! Participants must present their Emirates ID to enter.

MoHRE organising Eid Celebrations for the workers of UAE

The Ministry said, “We announce that we are organising social and recreational activities for workers during the Eid Al-Fitr holiday under the slogan ‘Our Workers, the Pulse of Our Business’ in 10 different locations across the UAE, to ensure their happiness, quality of life, and well-being, while highlighting their vital role in the country’s sustainable development.”

It also added that the events focusing on the workers happiness, quality of life, and well-being, will be organised in partnership with key government entities, police forces, municipalities, and industry leaders across the UAE including: 

  • Ministry of Interior
  • Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security
  • General Commands of Abu Dhabi Police, Dubai Police, and Sharjah Police along with the UAE municipalities 
  • Abu Dhabi Ports Group
  • General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai
  • Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority
  • Dubai Civil Defence
  • Permanent Committee for Labour Affairs in the Emirate of Dubai
  • Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA)
  • Sharjah’s Labour Standards Development Authority
  • The National Ambulance
  • Dubai Corporation for Ambulance Services, 
  • Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ).

Companies interested in participating for their employees can register for the events at uaeworkersevents.com. The program includes entertainment activities, competitions, and prizes for workers at each event location.
