Air Charter Service elevates Elie Hanna as CEO of the Middle East Operations

Air Charter Service, a leading airline, has announced the promotion of Elie Hanna to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) role for the Middle East region.

Elie, who has been associated with the airline since 2010, brings over 15 years of aviation industry experience to his new role. He will be based out of the Dubai office and will oversee the company’s growth across the region. Most recently, he served as the Regional Director of ACS, overseeing operations in the Middle East, Africa, India, and Central Asia. He has also held positions as Director of Private Jets for the Middle East, Associate Director of Executive Jets, and Regional Director of Private Jets and Helicopters across the Middle East, Africa, and India. Earlier in his career, he worked with Emerald Jets and Executive Aircraft Services.

On the academic front, Elie holds a BBA degree in Flight Dispatch from Flight Safety New York and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the American University of Science and Technology. He is also certified as an FAA Flight Dispatcher from FlightSafety International.

Welcoming Elie to his new role, Chris Leach, Chairman of Air Charter Service, said, “Elie has enjoyed huge success with the company since he joined us 13 years ago. In that time, he’s shown excellent leadership qualities and has deep knowledge of the Middle Eastern market. The region encompasses many different countries and cultures, and we believe Elie is the right person to focus on growing our business in each of these submarkets.”

He added, “Our future investment plans in the region need to be shaped based on local knowledge, and I, along with the rest of the board, look forward to working closely with Elie to develop a strategy to further cement our place as one of the leading charter providers in the Middle East. The first step is the expansion of the private jet team in the region, with three senior members joining over the next two months.”

Recently, the company also announced the transition of Andrew Summers to a new role as the Regional Director for ACS’s European offices. He served the ACS in the Middle East, Africa, and India region for over a decade.
