KAMS Global appoints Mohammad AlSharabi as new CEO
KAMS Global, a leading aviation advisory firm, has appointed Mohammad AlSharabi as its Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
AlSharabi takes over the CEO responsibilities from Moaaz Khanani, who founded the company in 2013. Moaaz will continue to serve as the Managing Partner.
Welcoming AlSharabi to the leadership team, Moaaz said: “We are pleased to welcome Mohammad AlSharabi as our new CEO. His extensive expertise will be instrumental in advancing our strategic growth, strengthening our aviation services, and expanding into key sectors such as MRO and aircraft manufacturing. Under his leadership, we are confident in driving a new era of innovation and exponential growth in the aerospace and defense industry.”
In his new role, AlSharabi brings nearly two decades of aerospace and defense leadership experience. He will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives focused on localising aviation expertise, advancing technological innovation, expanding local aviation infrastructure, and driving market growth in aerospace and defense.
Prior to his appointment, AlSharabi served at the General Authority for Military Industries for over five years in key roles, including Director of Air Domain, Lead Specialist of Capability Development, and Section Manager of Industry Development. In his previous roles, he co-founded Laylabs and worked with GDC Middle East as a Senior Project Engineer. He began his career with Airgroup Dynamics in 2014.

On the academic front, AlSharabi holds an MBA in Entrepreneurship from Prince Mohammed Bin Salman College of Business & Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sunderland in London. He also holds a Level 3 Diploma in Construction Management from Bradford College and key certifications in Systems Engineering from the University of Oxford, Executive Leadership from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and a finance course accredited by the Saudi Industrial Development Fund.
