KUN Sports appoints Abdullah Hefni as CHRO
Saudi Arabia’s leading health, wellness, and fitness company – KUN Sports – has appointed Abdullah Hefni as the Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Hefni posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at KUN Sports!”
He joined the company in 2019 as an HR Manager and has since transitioned into key roles, including HR Director.
Under his leadership, KUN Sports received a Labour Award for Saudization from the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in 2024, becoming the first company in the fitness and entertainment industry to be recognised for its local talent development commitments.
With over 15 years of HR leadership experience, Hefni previously worked with the Saudi Binladin Group, an architecture and construction company, as a Senior HR Specialist. Prior to that, he served as HR and Project Management Officer at BAE Systems, and as an HR Coordinator at Ebtisam Contracting Establishment.

On the academic front, Hefni holds an MBA in HR Management from Geneva Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from King Abdulaziz University. He also recently qualified as a Chartered FCIPD from the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and holds additional professional development certifications.
