Levi Strauss & Co. appoints Hiren Gor as Managing Director for South Asia, Middle East and Africa
Levi Strauss & Co. has elevated Hiren Gor to Managing Director for South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa (SAMEA), effective immediately.
Announcing the promotion, the company said, “Gor is a homegrown Levi’s leader, having spent the last 16 years with the company. Most recently the General Manager for the denim maker’s South Asia region, Gor successfully transformed the region into a high-performing growth engine, leading the company’s retail fleet transformation, launching the iconic store strategy, scaling digital and omnichannel operations, and building agile teams in one of the world’s most competitive apparel markets.”
“In his new role, Gor will lead the company’s operations spanning South Asia, the Middle East, and Sub-Saharan Africa as Levi Strauss & Co. expands its footprint across key emerging markets,” it added.
Gianluca Flore, Chief Commercial Officer at Levi Strauss & Co., welcomed Gor to the leadership team, saying, “Hiren has consistently demonstrated strategic clarity, operational excellence, and a deep connection to our brand. Before joining Levi’s in 2009, Gor held key roles at Future Group and Colgate-Palmolive. On the academic front, he holds an MBA in Marketing from SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, India.
