Snap Inc. appoints Abdulla Alhammadi as Managing Director - KSA

Snap Inc., a global technology company, has announced the appointment of Abdulla Alhammadi as the Managing Director for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with immediate effect.

The strategic appointment of Abdulla is part of the company’s continued success in the region, as he has been serving as the Regional Business Lead for over five years. To take on his new responsibilities, he will move to Diriyah Jax Cultural District in Riyadh, where the company is establishing a new office and Creator Studio for Snapchat, which encompasses over 22 million users across the region. He will focus on nurturing and growing the company’s regional partnership ecosystem, from government entities to SMEs. Additionally, he will aim to grow the team with flourishing local talent in the Kingdom.

In his new role, Abdulla brings over two decades of industry leadership experience. Before joining Snap Inc. in 2019, he served as the Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In his previous roles, he worked with Google, Careem, and Alba (Aluminium Bahrain). He also served as a Member on the Board of Directors for Beyon. Academically, he holds a bachelor's degree in finance, international business, and economics from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
