Syarah appoints new Director of Talent Acquisition & Development

Syarah, a leading commerce platform in Riyadh, has appointed Abdullah Alzubaidi as the Director of Talent Acquisition & Development, effective immediately.

In his new role, Abdullah brings over 18 years of HR experience across the financial services, recruitment, professional development, and technology sectors. Before his appointment, he worked with a government organisation as a Senior Executive Recruitment Consultant and Talent Acquisition Manager. In his previous roles, he served as a Training and Development Consultant at Victory Training and Development Institute, Senior Vice President of Talent Acquisition & Relations at tiqmo, and Talent Recruitment Manager at MRSOOL. He also worked with Wright State University and Riyad Bank at the beginning of his career.

On the academic front, Abdullah holds a BSc degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Wright State University, along with diplomas in HR Practices and Strategic People Management from CIPD. He also holds several certifications in HR excellence from CIPD, The KPI Institute, Maximus, and Western Michigan University.

Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Abdullah posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director of Talent Acquisition & Development at Syarah!” He will be responsible for overseeing Syarah’s talent acquisition strategy, recruitment, employer branding, onboarding, talent development, performance management, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, and team management.
