WizzFinancial names new CEO of Xpress Money
WizzFinancial Group, a global fintech platform, has appointed Samir Vidhate as the new Chief Executive Officer of Xpress Money, effective October 2024.
In his new role, Samir brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience across global BFSI sectors. He will spearhead the company’s growth and expansion in the global financial services sector. Prior to his appointment, Samir served as Senior Vice President at Mastercard UAE, following over 12 years at Transfast, a Mastercard company, where he held the roles of Managing Director and Senior Vice President. His previous positions also include roles at IndusInd Bank, ICICI Bank, Spice Money, Max Life Insurance Company, HDFC Bank, and Kalyani Financial Services Limited.
Academically, Samir is an alumnus of Savitribai Phule Pune University, where he earned an MBA in Finance, a Master’s in Commerce in Accounting and Business Finance, a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science, and a PG Diploma in Taxation Law. He also holds a PG Diploma in Foreign Exchange and Risk Management from the World Trade Centre, Mumbai.
