e& enterprise acquires GlassHouse; Expands business in Turkey
e& (formerly Etisalat), a UAE-based telecom company, has announced the acquisition of Turkey-based GlassHouse through its wholly owned subsidiary, e& enterprise.
Signing the acquisition deal for $60 million, e& has acquired 100% ownership of the company. “We've acquired GlassHouse Türkiye and expanded into the Turkish market! We are pleased to announce our acquisition of GlassHouse, a leading managed cloud, business continuity, and SAP infrastructure services provider. This move advances our digital transformation journey, expanding our scope and capabilities, e& enterprise posted on LinkedIn.
It added, “GlassHouse's expertise strengthens our portfolio, positioning us as a leading regional digital solutions provider, in line with our growth strategy in key markets such as Türkiye. With strong local data hosting regulations and increasing investment in data centers, Türkiye is an attractive market for cloud and SAP solutions. We look forward to leveraging GlassHouse's capabilities to enhance our services and drive further innovation in the digital space.”
Additionally, this new investment will allow e& enterprise to enter the Turkish IT services and cloud market and leverage its expertise in SAP services in both the UAE and Saudi Arabia. GlassHouse has offices in Turkey, Qatar, and South Africa, and specialises in data backup, business continuity, and managing cloud and SAP infrastructure services.
