Masdar announces AI partnership with Presight

Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company, better known as Masdar, has announced partnership with Presight, a leading Gen AI-backed big data analytics firm, to develop AI tools for its asset management for its renewable energy projects globally.

As part of the partnership, Presight will develop the AI tool that Masdar can use to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime and anticipate upcoming failures. Additionally, it will help analyse and evaluate company’s data points generated from equipment used in renewable projects to generate valuable insights for enabling data-driven decision making.

The partnership will elevate Masdar’s digital transformation journey for enhancing efficiency, predicting and addressing failures, boosting energy production, as well as lead innovation and development in the renewable energy sector.

Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi,  CEO of Masdar commented, “With our history of developing projects using cutting-edge clean energy technologies, it was a natural progression for Masdar to explore the potential for deploying AI across energy systems to enhance efficiency and deliver data-driven decision-making. The integration between AI and energy is a game-changing economic opportunity that will enable us to build a bridge to a low-carbon, high-growth future. We are pleased to announce this agreement between two UAE-based pioneers that will help to achieve this goal.”
