Agentic automation firm UiPath appoints Sara Al-Alsheikh as Regional VP & Managing Director for KSA, Bahrain, & Kuwait
Global Agentic Automation platform – UiPath has appointed Sara Al-Alsheikh as Regional Vice President and Managing Director for Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Bahrain, effective immediately,
Alsheikh will oversee the platform's business growth and strategy across these three nations and beyond, amid rising demand for AI-powered automation across the Gulf, the company stated.
She will be based at the regional hub in Riyadh, focusing on expansion across key sectors such as government, banking, oil and gas, and more. In addition, she will work on strengthening the company's partner ecosystem and driving customer success through large-scale digital transformation initiatives.
In her new role, Alsheikh brings a wealth of industry expertise, having worked with leading tech companies including IBM, SAP, HP, and Cisco. She joined UiPath in 2023 as the Regional Industry Director for the Public Sector and PIF, where she played a pivotal role in advancing the company’s commitment to the "Gulf’s ambitious Vision 2030 objectives by fostering innovation and driving sustainable growth across key sectors, while also supporting gender inclusion goals," the company stated.
It further added that, “Sara’s appointment reflects the Kingdom’s ongoing transformation and growing emphasis on empowering women in leadership as part of Vision 2030…She represents a new generation of Saudi leaders driving innovation, inclusion, and sustainable growth across the region’s technology landscape.”
