Kush Ahuja takes over as ACCA’s Head of Eurasia & Middle East

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) announces the appointment of Kush Ahuja as the new Head of Eurasia and the Middle East, with immediate effect.

Kush succeeds Fazeela Gopalani, who recently stepped down after nine years of service in the role. Based in Dubai, Kush brings over two decades of leadership experience and will be responsible for spearheading ACCA’s growth in the region. He joined ACCA in 2011 and has held key roles, including his most recent position as Associate Director. Outside of ACCA, Kush worked with HDFC AMC Dubai for over five years in roles such as AVP and Chief Representative for the Middle East. Before moving to Dubai, he worked with Citibank India and PwC India.

On the academic front, Kush holds an MBA in Strategic Marketing and Analytical Finance, a BCom degree from the College of Vocational Studies, and is a certified Chartered Accountant from ICAI.

Welcoming Kush to the leadership team, Magdalena Hernandez, Director of Europe, Eurasia, Middle East, and the Americas for ACCA, said, “Kush brings with him 24 years of experience, 12 of which have been at ACCA, developing its presence in India.
