Mondelēz names Ihab Rafik Amin as President for MENAP region

Mondelēz International has announced the appointment of Ihab Rafik Amin as President to oversee its business operations across the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan (MENAP), effective from July 2024.

In his new role, Ihab brings nearly three decades of leadership experience, having served at Procter & Gamble across global markets, including the USA, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. He led the company towards substantial growth, innovation, and brand excellence and played a pivotal role in organisational transformation and developing winning teams that drive sustainable results with excellence. Most recently, he held the position of Senior Vice President & Managing Director for P&G Eastern Europe. Academically, Ihab holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Cairo University and an MBA from Northeastern University.

Assuming his responsibilities for Mondelēz MENAP, Ihab will drive regional growth, which includes 20 markets, and oversee around 3,000 employees working across 7 plants and commercial offices in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, Morocco, and Pakistan.
