NBF appoints Mohamed Al Ameeri as CHRO

National Bank of Fujairah (NBF), the UAE’s prominent bank, has appointed Mohamed Al Ameeri as its Chief Human Resources Officer, effective immediately.

“The National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mohamed Al Ameeri as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, a move that underscores the bank’s dedication to nurturing Emirati leadership and advancing its people-first strategy,” the bank stated.

Al Ameeri brings over 20 years of leadership experience in human capital management, organisational transformation, talent development, and Emiratisation. Most recently, he served as the Senior Vice President of HR, and prior to that, he held key positions at Miral Experiences, Al Futtaim, Commercial Bank International, FGB (acquired by First Abu Dhabi Bank), and Standard Chartered.

At Al Futtaim, Al Ameeri serving as General Manager of Emiratisation Strategy & Employee Relations, spearheaded people-centric initiatives, nationalisation goals, and national talent development for the Emirati conglomerate.

On the academic front, Al Ameeri holds an MSc in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Heriot-Watt University, a Master’s degree in Strategic HR from the University of Wollongong - Dubai, and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Dubai.
