SERA Saudi elevates Mona AlSharief to COO role
SERA Saudi, a Saudi-based leading recruitment firm, has appointed Mona AlSharief as the Chief Operations Officer, with immediate effect.
This appointment is Mona’s promotion from her last position as the Operations Manager, which she held since 2022. She shared the news on LinkedIn, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Operations Officer at SERA Saudi - سيرة سعودي!”
In her new role, Mona brings over a decade of operations leadership experience. She will focus on driving operational excellence, overseeing daily operations, optimising HR processes, and managing budgets. Mona will also lead and mentor department heads to foster high-performance teams, ensure compliance, and collaborate with executives to drive business growth and explore new market opportunities. Additionally, she will lead digital transformation efforts and manage crisis response to ensure business continuity.
Prior to joining SERA, Mona worked with CV KSA, an HR services firm, in the capacity of Operations Team Leader. She led daily team operations to ensure efficiency and productivity, and implemented process improvements, while training and mentoring team members. She also aligned people objectives, tracked key performance indicators, and resolved operational challenges, all while fostering a positive work environment. She began her career in 2016 with Uber, working as the Compliance and Investigation Officer for over four years.
Mona holds a master’s degree in HR Management, and another in International Laws and Legal Studies from Cairo University. She also holds key competencies in HR, operations, strategic leadership, leadership development, data analysis, and process transformations.

She is a results-driven leader recognised for her exceptional work. At SERA Saudi, she received awards for improving customer retention by 22% and raising satisfaction to 92%. She led digital transformation efforts, boosting efficiency by 40% and reducing downtime. Her strategic approach increased annual revenue by 35%, raising earnings from SAR 200 Million to SAR 270 Million in three years. She also secured SAR 25 Million in cost savings through smart vendor negotiations, showcasing her ability to drive growth and efficiency.
