SIMAH appoints Khalid AlBattal as Chief Human Capital & Corporate Services Officer

The Saudi Credit Bureau, better known as SIMAH, has appointed Khalid AlBattal as the Chief Human Capital & Corporate Services Officer, effective October 2024.

Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Khalid posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Capital & Corporate Services Officer at Saudi Credit Bureau - SIMAH!”

In his new role, Khalid brings approximately 15 years of HR experience spanning the staffing, aviation, and government sectors. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Human Resources Operations at Mobily, and prior to that, as Chief Human Resources Officer at ALTANFEETHI. In his previous roles, he worked as General Manager of HR at Monshaat Saudi Arabia, Director of Talent Management and HR Operations at Holoola Aloula (a National Company for Business Solutions), and as HR Payroll Analyst at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences.

Khalid also announced his departure from Mobily, writing, “After a rewarding journey, I am leaving Mobily today, filled with pride and gratitude as I reflect on what we have achieved together over the past two years. This period has been full of challenges and successes that have contributed to both my professional and personal development. I would like to thank all my colleagues at Mobily for the support and collaboration I’ve received. Special thanks to the CEO, Eng. Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Badran, and the Chief Human Resources Officer, Eng. Mohammed Al Shammari, for their unwavering support and trust in entrusting me with leading significant projects. Looking ahead, I am excited to embrace new challenges in my professional future. Wishing Mobily and all my colleagues continued success and progress.”

On the academic front, Khalid holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Finance from King Saud University, an MBA in Business and Economics from Thompson Rivers University, and has completed an Executive Course in Leading Change from London Business School. He also holds several certifications in Total Talent Management Methodologies, Negotiation Dynamics, and Human Resources KPIs, further strengthening his core competencies in human capital management, change management, strategic HR, culture change, policies and procedures, employee relations, compensation and benefits, leadership coaching, and learning and development.
