Purity for Information Technology CEO steps down

Purity for Information Technology Company has confirmed the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Abdullah AlNamlah, with immediate effect.

The company informed Tadawul in an exchange filing: “Purity IT Co. announces that its Board of Directors has accepted the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Abdullah AlNamlah, on 16-11-2024. He will, however, continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors.” He will serve the company in his current role until December 18, 2024.

Abdullah has not provided any specific reason for stepping down from the position. The company stated that his resignation was due to a “lack of desire to renew the contract.” The announcement regarding Abdullah’s successor is still pending. Abdullah is also yet to announce his decision to move out of the company and his next career move.

Abdullah joined the company in 2021 as the Deputy CEO and was named CEO in 2022. He played a pivotal role in the IT company's growth and expansion, including building strong teams through effective recruitment efforts.

In addition to his role as CEO of Purity IT Co., Abdullah serves as the Founding Partner of Phoenix Investments, a Board Member of Appetito, Chairman of the Board at Rimal Transport Company, Advisor to Core Vision and Harley-Davidson Motor Company, and an Investor in jalebi.io and Sumha.
