P&G names Kareem Yassin as VP & General Manager for Egypt
Procter & Gamble, a global manufacturing company, has announced the appointment of Kareem Yassin as Vice President and General Manager for Egypt, with immediate effect.
In his new role, Kareem brings over 18 years of leadership experience. He joined the company in 2005 as the Sales Section Manager and has since escalated to key roles, including his most recent position as the Sales Head in Egypt. He also oversaw the company's pharmaceutical and personal care operations for 15 countries in the Middle East and Africa region.
On the academic front, Kareem holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The American University in Cairo. His core competencies include FMCG, trade marketing, market analysis and strategy, competitive analysis, cross-functional team leadership, team management, business strategy, and research. He believes in gender equality, diversity & inclusion, and is passionate about mentoring young talent and fostering a people-first work culture.

Kareem's appointment is part of the company's new Africa market operations unit, which combines North Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa to drive growth and expansion across the continent.
