SASCO reappoints Sultan Mohammed Alhudaithi as VP & MD

Saudi Automotive Services Company (SASCo.) has announced the appointment of Sultan Mohammed Alhudaithi as the Vice President and Managing Director until June 2028.

Sultan, who has been associated with the company since 2009, has served in key positions including Deputy CEO and his current position as VP and Managing Director. He brings a wealth of leadership experience across the financial services, manufacturing, real estate, and construction sectors. He also serves Thakher Development Co as a Board member, Mulkia Investment as Managing Director, Zawaya Real Estate as Vice Chairman, and Middle East Battery Co and Nahaz Investments as a Board Member.

In his previous roles, Sultan worked with Madaen Star Group as Deputy GM for finance and administration, United Wire Factories Company as a Board Member, Saudi Chemical Co. as a Board Member, and Saudi Chemical Co. as the Chief Executive Officer.

On the academic front, Sultan holds an MBA degree from London Business School and a BBA degree in Accounting from King Saud University. His core competencies include business strategy, corporate finance, venture capital, valuation, financial analysis, and leadership strategy.

The retail company has also announced the appointment of Ibrahim Mohammed Alhudaithi as the Chairman of the company board, and the formation of executive, audit, and remuneration and nominating committees of the company for the new term.

The company informed in a filing on Saudi Exchange Board (Tadawul), “Saudi Automotive Services Company (SASCO) announces that the Board of Directors elected by the Extraordinary General Assembly held on Sunday, June 09, 2024, for the new term starting on June 30, 2024, and ending on June 29, 2028, has decided on June 23, 2024, the following:

  • Appointment of Mr. Ibrahim Mohammed Alhudaithi (Non-Executive Member) as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
  • Appointment of Mr. Sultan Mohammed Alhudaithi (Executive Member) as Vice Chairman and Managing Director."
