Sony MEA appoints Jobin Joejoe as Managing Director

Sony Middle East and Africa has announced the appointment of Jobin Joejoe as Managing Director, effective from April 1, 2024.

Jobin joined the global consumer electronics company in 2007 as the Area Manager for Oman and the UAE. He most recently served in the capacity of Deputy MD since March 2022. In his new leadership role, he brings over two decades of experience across IT consulting, consumer goods and entertainment, finance, and manufacturing sectors. He will lead regional teams to advance the company’s global growth strategy and drive overall operational excellence.

On the academic front, Jobin holds an MBA in Marketing Management from Indian Institute of Modern Management, Pune, and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Goa College of Engineering. In 2023, he was awarded "CEO of the Year" by CEO Middle East magazine and "Forbes' Top Global Meets Local Executives" in 2023.
