Choice Hotels Int’l names David Beers as CEO for Choice Hotels EMEA
Choice Hotels International has announced the promotion of David Beers to the role of Chief Executive Officer for Choice Hotels EMEA, effective immediately.
David, who has been with the hotel group since 1997, succeeds former CEO Jonathan Mills, who stepped down from the position in April 2024. During his tenure, Jonathan oversaw the business operations of more than 350 EMEA hotels, and directed finance, legal, operations, HR, and technology teams, towards achieving growth and sustainability.
In his new role, David brings over 25 years of industry expertise, having held key positions in sales, marketing, and operations in the US and Canada region. He will focus on strategic growth and financial performance for the region in his new role. His core competencies include, revenue analysis, team leadership, marketing and sales management, marketing and business development strategy, budgeting, and hospitality operations.
