Kieran Scott joins Expo City Dubai as Vice President of HR
Expo City Dubai has appointed Kieran Scott as the Vice President of Human Resources, effective April 2024.
In his new role, Scott brings over 25 years of HR leadership experience encompassing workforce planning, executive development, total rewards, compensation and benefits, and strategic HR. He most recently served as the Executive Director of Human Resources at UAE’s real estate developer Nakheel for around five years.
In his previous roles, Scott worked with Red Blue Blur Ideas (RDBi) as the HRD consultant, Acino Pharma as the Chief Human Resources Officer, KCA Deutag Oil And Gas Company as the Global HR Director, and Habtoor Leighton Engineering Group as the HR Director for New Markets and Corporate Division. He also served UK’s leading organisations including Aggreko, Virgin Media, and AT&T at the beginning of his career.
On the academic front, Scott holds a master’s degree in Strategic Human Resource Management from Coventry University, and a postgraduate diploma in HRMS from Croydon College. He also completed certificate courses in Leadership Essentials from IMD Business School, Strategic HR from London Business School, and executive development from the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Scott posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President Human Resources at Expo City Dubai!” Following which, congratulations from leaders across the region started pouring on the post, including the leadership team at Nakheel.
