Petro Rabigh appoints Fahad Almuhaisin as Chief Financial Officer

Petro Rabigh, a leader in Saudi Arabia’s oil and gas industry, has appointed Fahad Almuhaisin as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.

Welcoming Almuhaisin to the leadership role, the company said, “We are pleased to announce the appointment of Fahad Almuhaisin as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Petro Rabigh. With more than 15 years of experience in financial leadership roles across Aramco and its affiliates, Fahad brings deep expertise in finance, governance, and strategic planning.”

Almuhaisin joined Petro Rabigh in 2024 as Acting CFO, succeeding Akihiko Hiraoka, who stepped down after serving for over six years.

Before joining Petro Rabigh, Almuhaisin worked with Aramco as the Head of the Group’s Finance Shared Services Project and Director of Group Finance & Consulting. He previously held leadership roles at Aramco Asia, Aramco Oil Pipelines, Aramco Overseas Company UK, and Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining (YASREF).

Additionally, he serves as a key member on various boards and Talent and Compensation Committees for leading organizations including, Esmax, Tuwaiq Casting & Forging Company, Shuaibah Holding, and Aramco Gas Pipelines.

On the academic front, Almuhaisin holds an MBA in Accounting from Clark University, an Executive Program in Finance and Strategy from London Business School, a Finance Leadership Program from Harvard Business School, an Executive Program for Directors from Stanford University, and a bachelor's degree in Finance from the University of Denver.

He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), and has completed the CFO Development Program from INSEAD.
