Fidelity United appoints Ahmed Nasef as new CEO

Dubai-based United Fidelity Insurance Company has announced the appointment of Ahmed Nasef as the new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 4, 2024, following approval from the company's Board of Directors.

Ahmed's tenure began on June 1, 2024, with the Central Bank of the UAE’s approval confirmed on July 2, 2024. He brings over two decades of leadership experience in the industry, spanning multiple regions. Before this role, Ahmed served as the Group Chief Commercial Lines and Reinsurance Officer and Deputy CEO at Liva Group. He has also held positions such as CEO and Managing Director at AXA, and Technical Operational Manager at ACE Group.

Academically, Ahmed holds a Global MBA in Business from the University of Warwick and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute in the UK.
