Abu Dhabi's EMCC Co. appoints Swapnil Sant as Head of Human Resources
EMCC Company, an Abu Dhabi-based industrial machinery manufacturing firm, has appointed Swapnil Sant as the new Head of Human Resources, effective June 2024.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Swapnil posted, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources at EMCC Company LLC!”
In his new role, Swapnil brings around 15 years of HR leadership experience across various sectors, including real estate, manufacturing, facilities management, and staffing and recruitment. He will oversee the HR function with respect to business planning, talent management, employee engagement, recruitment, and HRIS. He most recently worked with Damac Group’s Whitespot Facility Management as the Assistant Manager of HR.
In his previous roles, Swapnil served as Assistant Manager of HR at Ontime Manpower Supply, Senior HR Executive at Universal Voltas, HR Business Partner at Oman Shapoorji Company, and Assistant Manager - HR at Omkar Realtors & Developers. He also worked with Mukand Industries and Mayfair Housing at the beginning of his career.

On the academic front, Swapnil holds a Bachelor of Management Studies degree from the University of Mumbai and an MBA in HR from the International School of Business Research. He also holds certifications in HRM, HR, and UAE Labour Laws. His core competencies include business planning, HR business partnering, performance management, talent management, recruitment, budgeting, HRIS, labour law compliance, employee engagement, mentoring, employee grievance management, HR policies, data analysis, workforce planning, organisational structure, corporate recruiting, performance appraisal, and HR operations.
