Kuwait-based low-cost carrier Jazeera Airways has appointed Andrew Robert Littledale as its new Chief Financial Officer, effective 1 July 2026, as the airline continues to strengthen its financial leadership and support its growth strategy.
In a regulatory announcement, the airline confirmed the appointment, stating: “Jazeera Airways announces the appointment of Andrew Robert Littledale as the Company's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective 1 July 2026, following the completion of the necessary legal procedures.”
The appointment comes as the airline manages a leadership transition within its finance function. In a separate disclosure issued on 12 March 2026, Jazeera Airways announced that the employment period of Krishnan Balakrishnan, Deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer, had been extended. The company said Balakrishnan’s last working day would now be 31 July 2026, replacing the previously announced departure date.
Welcoming Littledale to the executive team, Barathan Pasupathi, Chief Executive Officer of Jazeera Airways, highlighted the strategic value of his appointment.
“We are excited to welcome Andrew Littledale to the leadership team at Jazeera Airways. His extensive aviation finance experience and proven track record in financial strategy, transformation and capital management will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our business and pursue our growth ambitions. Andrew's expertise will help support our future expansion while ensuring we remain focused on delivering long-term value for our shareholders, customers and employees,” Pasupathi said.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), Littledale brings more than 25 years of international finance leadership experience, with a significant portion of his career spent in the aviation sector. His expertise spans financial strategy, capital management, investor relations, fleet financing, business transformation and corporate restructuring.
Over the course of his career, he has held senior leadership roles with major airline groups, including AirAsia, AirAsia X and Air Arabia, gaining experience across Asia, the Middle East and Europe.
Jazeera Airways said Littledale’s experience in supporting airline growth, improving financial performance and navigating complex operating environments will strengthen the company’s leadership team as it continues to expand its network and operations.
This appointment completes a series of C-suite leadership changes at Jazeera Airways. Last year, Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier announced the appointments of three senior executives to its leadership team, promoting Ginny Sethi to Chief People Officer while appointing Captain Ayman AlShammari as Chief Operating Officer and Paul Carroll as Chief Commercial Officer as part of its broader strategy to strengthen executive leadership and support future growth.
