Saudi Chemical Company appoints Fahad Al-Qadi as CEO of Explosives Sector

Saudi Chemical Company Limited has announced the appointment of Engineer Fahad bin Abdulhameed Al-Qadi as Chief Executive Officer of its Explosives Sector, signaling a strategic move to strengthen leadership within one of its core business units.

In a statement, the company welcomed Al-Qadi to the group, expressing confidence in his ability to drive growth and development. “We wish him great success in his new role and look forward to the valuable expertise he will bring,” the company said.

Al-Qadi brings extensive leadership experience across defense, advanced technologies, oil and gas, and operations. He began his career with Schlumberger, working in exploration environments that leveraged advanced technologies in complex operational settings, an experience that helped shape his technical and leadership foundation.

Over the years, he has held several senior executive roles, including Senior Vice President of Engineering and Development and Head of the Center of Excellence at Advanced Electronics Company. His career also includes governance responsibilities, serving as a board member of SAMI Navantia and as a member of the Saudi Leaders Council.

Al-Qadi has led multiple strategic initiatives focused on localization and strengthening national capabilities, aligning closely with the ambitions of Saudi Vision 2030.

The appointment comes as Saudi Chemical continues to expand its capabilities in the explosives and defense-related sectors, with a growing emphasis on innovation, operational excellence, and local industry development.
