Jassim Ali Abdulrahman Al Muftah, CEO of Doha Insurance Group, has reaffirmed the company’s commitment to advancing Qatar’s nationalisation agenda by investing in education, scholarships, and long-term talent development for Qatari nationals.
Speaking about the Group’s people strategy, Al Muftah said the organisation views investment in human capital as the foundation of successful nationalisation efforts, stressing that empowering national talent academically and professionally is critical to strengthening the country’s future workforce.
He noted that Doha Insurance Group continues to support Qatari students through scholarship programmes across multiple academic disciplines, enabling them to complete their university education and prepare for future roles in the private sector.
According to Al Muftah, the company believes nationalisation must begin with investing in people before positions, adding that creating a strong educational foundation will help build qualified national cadres capable of contributing to economic growth and sustainable development.

The initiative aligns with Qatar National Vision 2030, which prioritises human development, economic diversification, and the empowerment of national talent as central pillars of the country’s long-term strategy.
Al Muftah emphasised that the Group considers nationalisation a strategic and long-term commitment rather than a compliance exercise. He said quality educational programmes and continuous development initiatives are essential to enhancing the readiness of Qatari talent and enabling meaningful participation in the nation’s development journey.
The announcement comes amid broader efforts across Qatar’s private sector to strengthen nationalisation strategies and expand opportunities for national talent in line with government workforce development priorities led by the Ministry of Labour Qatar.
