Belgin Ertam, a leading HR professional in the Middle East, has stepped down from her role as Managing Director of HR & CHRO at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, effective immediately.
Sharing the news on LinkedIn, Ertam posted, “After an incredibly rewarding and enriching journey with ALJ, it’s time for me to turn the page.
I’m deeply grateful to the esteemed shareholders, inspiring leaders, and brilliant colleagues I had the privilege to work with. ALJ has been more than just a workplace — it’s been a place of immense growth, collaboration, and global achievement in such a short span of time.
I’ll always celebrate the ongoing success of this exceptional organization. As for what’s next, I’ll be sharing more soon, and I’m very excited about the future ahead!’
Ertam joined ALJ in May last year with over two decades of HR leadership experience across key sectors. She previously worked with General Electric as Vice President of HR – MENAT and Senior HR Director – Global, and earlier with Microsoft and DHL Express as HR Director. She currently also serves as an Advisor and Council Member for the Human Capital Advisory Council – UAE.

On the academic front, Ertam has completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School, earned a certification in the International Directors Program from INSEAD, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Economics and Industrial Relations from Istanbul University.
Currently, Faisal Abdalla is serving as Chief HR & Kaizen Officer, where he is responsible for driving culture and cultivating talent through coherent, leading-edge HR processes and Kaizen practices.
