ADNOC Group has appointed Maha AlQattan as Acting Group Chief People and Culture Officer, effective immediately, marking a strategic leadership move as the company advances its AI-driven transformation agenda.
AlQattan brings an extensive leadership track record from DP World, where she most recently served as Group Chief Sustainability Officer after holding the role of Group Chief People Officer for over six years. In those positions, she led large-scale transformation initiatives, aligning people strategy closely with business performance and sustainability priorities.
Sharing the update on LinkedIn, AlQattan said she is “excited to begin” the new role, emphasizing the organisation’s forward-looking cultural and technology ambitions under the leadership of Sultan Al Jaber.
“Our mission is clear: to build a culture of innovation and performance that is not just ready for the future of energy, but actively shaping it,” she wrote.

She highlighted ADNOC’s focus on deeply embedding artificial intelligence across the enterprise, noting that the effort goes beyond deploying tools to fundamentally transforming how the organisation solves problems, delivers global value, and develops an AI-ready workforce to support the energy transition.
AlQattan also underscored the company’s continued emphasis on strengthening its talent ecosystem through leadership pipeline development, accelerated professional growth, and enhanced organisational agility.
Her appointment comes as ADNOC intensifies efforts to integrate AI into its operating model and future workforce strategy. With deep expertise in leadership development, governance, and enterprise-wide cultural transformation, AlQattan is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performance, future-ready organisation.
