Al Masaood Group has announced a corporate transformation as it transitions its business to a Private Joint Stock Company structure, alongside the appointment of Irfan Tansel as interim Group Managing Director.

The Abu Dhabi-based diversified business said the restructuring is aimed at strengthening corporate governance, improving transparency and creating a future-ready organisation as it pursues long-term growth across its portfolio.

Tansel will oversee the Group’s strategic direction, operational performance and financial delivery during the interim period.

He will also represent Al Masaood in engagements with government entities, financial institutions, business partners and other stakeholders.

He will take on the expanded responsibility alongside his existing role as Chief Executive Officer of Al Masaood Automobiles, the authorised dealer for Nissan, INFINITI and Renault across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and the Al Dhafra Region.

Tansel brings more than 40 years of leadership experience to the role. At Al Masaood Automobiles, he has led a broad business transformation focused on performance, customer experience and operational excellence.

Under his leadership, the automotive business has reported record performance across sales and aftersales, while strengthening its focus on innovation and customer-centricity.

Khalifa Al Masaood, Chairman of the Shareholders’ Supervisory Board, said the leadership transition comes at an important stage in the Group’s evolution and that Tansel’s experience would help guide the organisation through its next phase of growth.

The interim Managing Director will work with Al Masaood’s leadership teams to advance strategic priorities, strengthen business performance and support sustainable growth as the Group moves ahead with its new corporate structure.
