Albawani Group appoints Ali Al Numai as Group Senior Director of Human Capital Operations & Administration

Al Numai brings over 18 years of experience in human capital leadership, HR operations, shared services, organisational development, digital transformation, workforce planning, Saudization, and employee experience.

Albawani Holding has appointed Ali bin Mohammed Al Numai as Group Senior Director of Human Capital Operations & Administration, marking a key leadership move aimed at strengthening the company’s workforce strategy and operational excellence across its diversified portfolio.


In his new role, Al Numai will oversee Human Capital Operations and administrative functions across the group and its subsidiaries, supporting a workforce of more than 16,000 employees spanning construction, investment, operations and maintenance services, telecommunications and IT, water and pipeline infrastructure, energy, and security services.


The appointment places him at the centre of Albawani’s efforts to enhance HR shared services, governance, digital transformation, and employee experience, while aligning human capital strategies with the group’s broader business objectives. The mandate is also expected to focus on scaling efficient, technology-driven HR operations across multiple sectors and geographies.


Al Numai brings over 18 years of experience in human capital leadership, HR operations, shared services, organisational development, digital transformation, workforce planning, Saudization, and employee experience. His career spans multiple industries, including construction, telecommunications, energy, hospitality, tourism, and medical services.


Prior to joining Albawani Holding, he served as Senior Director of Human Capital Operations at El Seif Engineering Contracting Company, where he spent nearly eight years in various leadership roles across HR operations, HR Centres of Excellence, and business partnering functions. Earlier, he held senior HR and administrative leadership positions at Safari Group, including Acting General Manager of HR and Group Administrative Affairs.


In a farewell note reflecting on his tenure at El Seif, Al Numai described his time there as “a memorable and emotional occasion,” expressing gratitude to colleagues and leadership teams for their support and collaboration over the years. He highlighted the organisation’s leadership and teams for enabling a journey marked by “valuable experiences, shared achievements, meaningful relationships, and continuous learning.”


Academically, he holds a Master’s degree in HR Management and Development (MSc HRM&D) from the University of Salford, UK, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and an academic background in Computer Science. He also holds a professional Master’s in Human Development.


He also holds certifications and executive training in project management (PMP), SHRM-CP & SHRM-SCP, leadership development, change management, training-of-trainers (TOT), occupational safety and health, HBDI personality analysis, and business analysis, among others.


With this appointment, Albawani Holding signals a continued push toward strengthening its human capital capabilities as it expands across infrastructure, energy, and technology-driven sectors.
