In a move that reinforces its focus on internal talent development and leadership continuity, Bahrain Bourse (BHB) has promoted Salman Nabeel Al Zayani to Director of Human Resources, as part of a wider round of management elevations across the organisation and its fully owned subsidiary Bahrain Clear (BHC).

The promotions, the exchange said, are in recognition of strong performance, dedication, and sustained contributions, while also aligning with its broader strategy to invest in human capital and empower Bahraini professionals to step into leadership roles.
Commenting on the announcement, Shaikh Khalifa bin Ebrahim Al-Khalifa, Chief Executive Officer of Bahrain Bourse, said, “We are extremely proud to see our local talent progress into leadership positions within the organization. Recognizing and developing our talent remains a key priority for Bahrain Bourse. These promotions reflect the commitment and performance of our team members as well as a forward-looking investment, as we are confident they will continue to play an integral role in advancing our strategic objectives and supporting the development of the recently unveiled Capital Market Development Plan (2026-2028).”
Echoing this, Al Zayani, Director of Human Resources at Bahrain Bourse, stated, “We are committed towards building a strong and capable team that can support the recently unveiled Capital Market Development Plan. Investing in our people is a core part of how we strengthen our organization and ensure we continue to deliver at a high standard.”

Al Zayani’s elevation marks a key milestone in his decade-long journey with Bahrain Bourse. He previously served as Deputy Director of HR and Head of HR, building deep institutional knowledge within the organisation. Academically, he holds a bachelor’s degree from Queen Mary University of London, along with certifications from Society for Human Resource Management and a diploma from CIPD Qualifications.
The latest round of promotions underscores Bahrain Bourse’s continued emphasis on strengthening internal capabilities and nurturing national talent to support the growth and advancement of Bahrain’s capital market.
