Binghatti appoints Hamad Al Awadhi as Group CHRO

Announcing the news on LinkedIn, Al Awadhi wrote, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Group Chief Human Resources Officer at Binghatti!” He brings nearly 15 years of HR leadership experience to this role.

Al Awadhi joined the group in 2023 as Group Senior HR Director and was promoted to Executive Vice President of Group HR & Administration in July last year. 

Prior to this, he served the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) for over 12 years in key roles, including Senior Manager – Talent Enablement & Development, HC Strategy & Development, and Compensation & Benefits, gaining extensive expertise in HR management. 

On the academic front, Al Awadhi holds an MBA in Aviation and Airway Operations Management from Coventry University and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Zayed University. 

He has also earned certifications in coaching, leadership development, knowledge management, and job and performance evaluation from leading institutions including, ICF, KMI, and Korn Ferry. Additionally, he completed a government leadership program under the UAE Prime Minister’s Office.
