Binghatti Holding appoints Shameel Ahmed as Group Director – HR Planning & Organisational Development

Binghatti Holding has appointed Shameel Ahmed as its new Group Director – HR Planning & Organisational Development, the Dubai-based investment group announced on LinkedIn.

Ahmed will oversee HR planning and organisational development for the rapidly expanding group, which has grown tenfold to 25,000 employees and operates across real estate development, construction, hospitality, industrial manufacturing, and food & beverage sectors.

Ahmed brings almost three decades of multi-industry experience, spanning in-house HR, consulting, and strategic business development roles in private and public sectors. 

Before joining Binghatti, he served as ECEMEA Sales Development Leader at Oracle, managing a $5.5 million+ pipeline and leading 43 strategic campaigns across 10+ industries. He also held senior positions at UAE General Civil Aviation Authority, Bridgestone, EY, JLL, GSK, Deutsche Bank, and Superdrug.

An MBA graduate from the University of Hertfordshire with a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Ahmed is recognised for his expertise in talent management, reward, mobility, performance, change management, and strategic HR operations.

With his appointment, Binghatti Holding aims to strengthen its organisational development capabilities and leadership infrastructure as it continues to scale across multiple sectors.
