DSV appoints Jurgita Penikiene as Vice President and Chief People Officer for MEA region

Penikiene most recently served at DB Schenker as Chief People Officer for the MEA region, and brings over 20 years of experience to her new role.
DSV, a global transportation and logistics company, has appointed Jurgita Penikiene as Vice President and Chief People Officer for the Middle East & Africa region, effective immediately.
Penikiene shared the news in a LinkedIn update, stating, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Vice President and Chief People Officer MEA at DSV - Global Transport and Logistics!”
Based in Dubai, Penikiene brings over two decades of HR and people leadership experience to her new role. She most recently served at DB Schenker as Chief People Officer for the MEA region, overseeing people, talent development, HR transformation, and culture strategy for more than 17 years.
On the academic front, Penikiene holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in executive management from LCC International University. She is also a qualified mentor and coach accredited by the Co-Active Training Institute.
DSV recently announced the opening of a new warehouse in Jeddah, and in her new role, Penikiene will be building people-centric initiatives around local talent as the company continues to scale operations across the MEA region.
