ESBAAR appoints Abdullah Al Wahaibi as CEO, Sulaiman Al-Wahaibi as Chief People Officer

ESBAAR, an integrated AI solutions company based in Oman, has announced the appointment of Eng. Abdullah Al Wahaibi as its new Chief Executive Officer and Sulaiman Al-Wahaibi as Chief People Officer, effective immediately.

Announcing the leadership changes, the company said it was pleased to welcome Eng. Abdullah Al Wahaibi as CEO and wished him success in steering ESBAAR’s next phase of growth. 


In his new role, Abdullah brings nearly two decades of leadership experience across both public and private sectors. He most recently served as CEO of Tatweer (Oman Company for the Development of Special Economic Zones) and has previously held senior leadership positions at Voltamp Energy, AlShawamikh Oil Services, and Siemens. 

Beyond his executive roles, Abdullah  holds several advisory and leadership positions, including Chairman of the IEEE Power & Energy Society in Oman, Advisory Board Member at the Research Center for Energy, Materials, Metallurgy, and Semiconductor at the University of Nizwa, Member of the Industrial Committee at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Industrial Advisory Committee Board Member at the Military Technological College, and Advisory Board Member at Dhofar University. 

Alongside the CEO appointment, ESBAAR elevated Sulaiman to the role of Chief People Officer. He brings extensive experience in HR and people culture and has been with the organisation since 2021, most recently serving as HR and Administration Manager. 

Prior to joining ESBAAR, Sulaiman worked with Al Hilal Industrial Group as Human Resources and Administration Manager. Sharing the news, he said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief People Officer at ESBAAR.”

On the academic front, he holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Management Services from Majan University College and has completed multiple professional certifications in key HR disciplines.
