Fatima Ahmed elevated to Director, People & Change at KPMG Middle East

Ahmed brings extensive experience across healthcare, consulting, and manufacturing, with strong expertise in organisational management, employee wellbeing, and strategic HR leadership.
KPMG has elevated Fatima Ahmed to the role of Director, People & Change for the Middle East (Lower Gulf) region, effective April 2026.
Announcing the development on LinkedIn, Ahmed reflected the support and encouragement she has received in her journey. “Grateful to share that I’ve been promoted to Director, People & Change at KPMG Middle East,” she wrote, adding that the milestone stands as a testament to those who have supported and challenged her along the way.
She extended her appreciation to colleagues and mentors, acknowledging their guidance and encouragement. Reflecting on the broader context of her role, Ahmed highlighted the importance of people-centric transformation in times of uncertainty.

Ahmed joined KPMG Lower Gulf in 2022 and has since progressed through key roles within the organisation. Prior to this, she spent nearly five years with KPMG Canada, building expertise across consulting and HR transformation. Her earlier experience includes roles at Unilever Pakistan and Cadre, where she worked across recruitment, learning, and HR business partnering functions.
With experience spanning healthcare, consulting, and manufacturing sectors, Ahmed brings deep expertise in organisational management, employee wellbeing, and strategic HR. She holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in HR and Finance from the Institute of Business Management, along with certifications in change management and strategic HR.
Her elevation comes at a time when organisations across the Middle East are increasingly focusing on transformation agendas, positioning People & Change functions as critical drivers of business resilience and growth.
