HUMAIN appoints Hani Alahdal as Chief Human Resources Officer

Alahdal brings nearly two decades of experience in human capital strategy, executive remuneration, and organisational transformation, and most recently, he served as Vice President of HR Center of Excellence at stc.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund-backed artificial intelligence solutions company, HUMAIN, has appointed Hani Alahdal as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective immediately, as the organisation accelerates efforts to scale its global AI ambitions.


Announcing the appointment, the company said it was “thrilled” to welcome Alahdal at a pivotal moment in its growth journey. In his new role, he will lead the company’s people strategy, governance framework, and talent ecosystem, with a focus on building a high-performance, future-ready organisation capable of delivering enterprise AI at global scale.


Alahdal brings nearly two decades of experience in human capital strategy, executive remuneration, and organisational transformation. Most recently, he served as Vice President of HR Center of Excellence at stc, where he led group-wide innovation initiatives and policy architecture.



“Hani joins at a pivotal moment as we scale our organisation and build the foundations to deliver enterprise AI at global scale,” the company noted, adding that he will spearhead HUMAIN’s human capital agenda to ensure the organisation remains agile, performance-driven, and aligned with its mission to shape the future of human-centred AI.


Before his tenure at stc, Alahdal held leadership roles across several major organisations, including HR Director at Saudi Air Navigation Services. His career also includes HR positions at Sadara Chemical Company, TASNEE, and SABIC.


Beyond his corporate roles, Alahdal has contributed to governance and executive compensation discussions as a board and committee member advising organisations such as Al Jomaih Holding, AlSaedan Real Estate, stc Kuwait, stc Bahrain, and Palm HR.


On the academic front, Alahdal holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Science in Business Administration. He has also completed executive education and certifications in strategic leadership and HR from institutions including Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan School of Management, and Cornell University.


His appointment comes as HUMAIN continues to strengthen its leadership team and talent ecosystem while expanding its footprint in the rapidly evolving global AI landscape.
