Infobip has appointed Mirta Pađen Lee as Vice President of People, effective October 1, 2026, as the global cloud communications platform advances its organisational transformation and embeds artificial intelligence (AI) across its business.

The appointment, announced on October 12, comes as the company marks its 20th anniversary and focuses on innovation, operational excellence and investment in people, leadership and AI capabilities.

Pađen Lee will lead Infobip’s global People Operations function, overseeing people strategy, organisational development, total rewards, HR operations, leadership enablement and transformation initiatives. She succeeds Marin Bezić, who joined the company in 2021 and served as Vice President of People for the past three years.

A key priority for Pađen Lee will be supporting the cultural and organisational changes required as Infobip evolves into an AI-first business, with an emphasis on adaptability, collaboration, continuous learning and new ways of working.

“Growth, new business models, evolving technologies and the rapid development of AI are continuously reshaping the way organisations operate,” said Pađen Lee, VP of People at Infobip.

“In global companies like Infobip, with more than 70 offices worldwide, successful transformation requires more than processes and tools - it needs to be closely connected with culture, strong communication and leadership that stays close to people throughout the change journey.”

She added: “I’m looking forward to further strengthening our people practices and organisational capabilities as Infobip continues its next stage of growth as an AI-first business.”

Infobip is integrating AI into its products, operations and internal workflows while investing in employee upskilling and organisational agility. The company aims to equip employees with the skills and support needed to work alongside emerging technologies as its operating model evolves.

“As Infobip evolves into an AI-first company, investing in our people, culture and leadership is more important than ever,” said Silvio Kutić, co-founder and CEO of Infobip.

“Mirta’s experience in leading people and organisational transformation across international businesses is a valuable asset as we continue to grow, innovate and shape the future of work at Infobip,” he added.

Before joining Infobip, Pađen Lee held senior HR leadership positions at MOL Group and IKEA SEE, where she led international HR and organisational transformation initiatives across multiple markets. Her experience includes leadership development, workforce planning, organisational effectiveness and HR operations.

She holds a CIPD Level 5 Certificate in Human Resource Management and has completed various HR, coaching, leadership and business education programmes.

The appointment comes as organisations increasingly reassess their people strategies to support AI adoption, placing greater emphasis on workforce capabilities, leadership development and organisational readiness alongside technology investment.
