Jamil Daouk Joins Samana Group as Group Head of HR

Daouk brings over two decades of HR leadership experience across retail, manufacturing, and real estate, having previously held key roles at Sankari Properties, DAMAC Properties, Emaar, and Al Tayer Group.
Samana Group has appointed seasoned HR leader Jamil Daouk as its new Group Head of Human Resources, effective immediately.
Daouk moves to the Dubai-based conglomerate after serving as Head of Human Resources at Bond Interiors, where he spent a year leading people strategy and organizational development initiatives.
Announcing his departure, Daouk shared an emotional note reflecting on his experience at Bond, praising its leadership for embodying genuine values beyond HR best practices.
“Leaving Bond was not easy… Without leadership rooted in values, real transformation simply doesn’t happen,” he wrote, acknowledging the strong culture and leadership support he experienced at the company.
“For the first time in the UAE, I am leaving a company where I truly felt like a family member. That made this decision emotional, yet the next step in my career was a challenge I couldn’t resist.”
With over 20 years of HR leadership experience, Daouk has worked across multiple industries including retail, manufacturing, real estate, and corporate organisations.
His career spans leadership roles at Sankari Properties, DAMAC Properties, Emaar, Al Tayer Group, and he earlier worked with Adidas, Bayt.com, and Morganti Group.
An alumnus of the Lebanese American University, Daouk holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a certification in Business Leadership and Talent Development from Harvard Business School.
At Samana Group, Daouk is expected to drive strategic HR transformation, culture development, talent strategy, and leadership enablement as the company continues its growth trajectory.
