Keir International CEO steps down; Moath Alsohaibani joins as Managing Director
Keir International, a leading telecommunications, contracting, and engineering company in KSA, has announced leadership changes, with the current Chief Executive Officer stepping down and a new Managing Director being appointed.
According to the company’s disclosure on Tadawul, CEO Waseem Abdullah Al Marzoki has requested not to renew his contract with the company. The announcement read, “The Board of Directors has approved the non-renewal of the employment contract of the current CEO, Eng. Waseem Abdullah Al Marzoki, which is set to expire on April 15, 2025, based on his request. (Therefore,) his job functionalities and duties as CEO will be terminated effective 10/02/2025, and he will be appointed as an advisor to the Board of Directors and the Managing Director, providing professional advice, transferring all powers, and handing over tasks to the Managing Director until his contract expires.”
Waseem has been serving the company since 2021 and has played a key role in driving growth, innovation, and excellence in its regional expansion. He built relationships with key stakeholders and played a pivotal role in talent development while fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Before joining Keir, he worked with Al Nasser Group as CEO, Nokia as the Customer Business Head, Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise as CEO, and ABB Automation Ltd. as Vice President.
The company extended its wishes to him, stating, “(We extend our) sincere appreciation and gratitude to Eng. Waseem Abdullah Al Marzoki for his efforts and contributions during his tenure as CEO and wish him continued success in his future endeavors.”
In addition to the CEO’s resignation, the company has also announced the appointment of Moath Alsohaibani as the new Managing Director for one year. It added, “Eng. Moath Mohammed Al-Suhaibani has been appointed as Managing Director, effective February 10, 2025, for a one-year term. His status on the Board of Directors will be updated to Executive Member.”
Moath has been serving as a board member since February 2024. He brings over 25 years of leadership experience, and most recently, he served as the CEO of Saudi Services for Electro Mechanic Works Company. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Green Buildings Solutions and previously served as a Founding Member of the Saudi Contractors Authority and GCC Lab. In his previous roles, he worked with Saudi Electricity Company for over seven years.
