Marsh McLennan appoints Andrea Bono as CEO of India, Middle East & Africa

Bono will be based in Dubai and will report to Flavio Piccolomini, CEO, Marsh McLennan International. In his new role, "Bono will spearhead the firm’s strategic growth and commercial initiatives across the IMEA region, driving the delivery of Marsh McLennan’s specialized capabilities in risk, reinsurance and capital, people and investments, and management consulting. 

A key part of his mandate will be to deepen client relationships and further expand the company’s footprint across the region," the company said in the announcement. 

Bringing over three decades of industry experience, Bono began his career in London before joining Marsh in 2010 as Head of Marsh Italy’s Risk Management Practice. He went on to hold a series of senior roles including co-General Manager and later co-CEO of Marsh Italy. In 2021, he became CEO of the Eastern Mediterranean Region, and two years later, was additionally named CEO of Marsh McLennan Italy.
