Mazad appoints Asma AlZekri as Head of Human Resources & CSR

Bahrain-based leading technology company Mazad has appointed Asma AlZekri as its new Head of Human Resources & CSR, effective immediately.

AlZekri announced the appointment on LinkedIn, saying, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Head of Human Resources & CSR at Mazad!”

In her expanded role, AlZekri will lead Mazad’s people strategy while strengthening the company’s commitment to community impact and sustainability. She brings extensive experience across HR leadership and CSR, spanning the real estate and education sectors.

AlZekri joined Mazad in 2023 as HR Manager, where she played a pivotal role in supporting the company’s strategic growth and expansion. Her work has focused on HR operations, workforce planning, and employee engagement, as Mazad continued to scale Bahrain’s auction ecosystem with a strong emphasis on transparency and innovation.

Prior to Mazad, AlZekri served as HR Manager at the American School of Bahrain, HR Operations Lead at New Generation Private School, and Community Relations Specialist at Rayan Alkhair Group. She began her career at Rotana, working in community relations and media.

Academically, AlZekri holds an MBA in HR Management from Rays University and a BBA from Arab Open University. She has also completed multiple professional certifications in training and development, quality management, HR management and services, and people management, including a certification from CIPD.
